Blaze's pov…

Being a princess isn't easy, believe me. People think its just crowns, puffy dresses and attending parties of all the kingdoms. It's not just that, it's a duty, a way of life, responsibilities of families and the land. Also achieving manners and attending to other places to maintain the reputation of my kingdom. Standing snobby children and rich parents who only care about how much wealth you posses. I've seen it all and believe me, it's a horrible experience that I would not recommend to anyone! Mother was nagging since I had not behaved so ladylike today. I had ripped off my new gown and ran around the garden, while getting all muddy. Is it a sin to feel free ones in awhile?

"BLAZE; LISTEN TO ME WHEN I AM SPEAKING TO YOU!" She shouted as I stood up straight.

"Yes mother." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"DON'T YOU ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME, YOUNG LADY! OR I MIGHT AS WELL MARRY YOU OFF." She shouted as I gasped and widen my eyes.

"What!? You can't marry me off, I'm still young and I haven't found my loved one." I countered as she glared at me.

"You have been disobeying me and constantly acting unladylike when we arrive home. If any gentlemen would see you…in THAT…they would have a heart attack and runaway with a cross!" She said pointing at my muddy black dress.

"Your acting ridiculously I mean, I'm in my kingdom I do whatever I please when I arrive." I backed talked her as she gasped.

"HOW DARE YOU BACK TALK TO ME! I'M YOUR MOTHER FOR GOD'S SAKE, YOU HAVE TO RESPECT ME. YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU'RE GROUNDED AND I'M CALLING PRINCE CHRIS RIGHT NOW, TO MARRY YOU OFF!" She shouted as she turned around and walked away.

"WHAT!? YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!...I….I HATE YOU AND I HATE THIS STUPID LIFE AND ALL THISE STUPID RULES!!" I shouted making my mother stop dead in her tracks.

I ran away before she could face me. As I ran the tears fell and I began to think of me marrying Prince Chris. He's a snobby, rich, bastard, that deserves to have his balls hanged in a pole. How could I marry him? More importantly, why would my mom choose him to be MY husband? She knows I hate him to death so why would she? Well I know what I'm doing next; I went to the back of the castle as I climbed up the wall to reach my window. I grabbed my things and placed them in a backpack. I felt the guards searching already for me. So she already has an idea of what I plan to do. I have to handed to my mother, she knows exactly every single movement someone can plan. My grandfather calls that strategy, more like mother raider. I changed my dress and wore more casual clothes just to disguise myself. I wore a peasant dress as I covered my face with a hood. I climbed out of the window and walked right pass some guards who were eagerly searching for me.

"Ma'am" A guard called as I froze.

"Y-yes?" I spoke trying hard to disguise my voice.

"Have you seen by any chance, the princess around here?" He asked worried and desperately.

"The princess huh? Well I saw her run towards the village." I lied as the guard smiled.

"Thank you" He said quickly and hurried towards the village.

I smiled at myself as I ran towards the forest. I know I have to hide from my mother and the guards. I can't let them catch me; if they do I'm screwed. I was reaching my destination and no guards were around the area thank heavens. I reached my destination as I stopped and took a breath. I inhaled the sweet smell of fresh pine cones and the free oxygen that we all share. I was going to miss this place. Even do my mother gets under my skin I love her but she needs to learn. She needs to learn that I'm not the baby she gave birth to sixteen years ago.  I took out a sol emerald as I smiled at it. Mother is seriously going to murder me if she finds out that I took them. Before I could summon the power of the emerald I heard footsteps as I widen my eyes. The guards, I hurriedly began to whisper the agent sayings as the emerald began to glow. Suddenly a force tried to stop me as I opened my eyes. It was my mother who was glaring at me with such fury.

"BLAZE THE CAT STOP THIS AT ONES!! I'M TIRED OF TAKING CARE OF YOU AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT MY YEARS OF MOTHERHOOD? RUNNING AWAY? WHAT KIND OF PRINCESS ARE YOU!? I SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD YOU; I SHOULD HAVE ABORTED YOU LIKE MY MOTHER TOLD ME TO. A RECKLESS GIRL LIKE YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY HOLD THE CROWN!" She shouted with what sounded to be hatred.

"Please…stop judging me…" I whispered as tears began to fall and my mother stood quiet.

She looked upset for a moment and just when she was about to open her mouth. The portal opened up and sucked me right into it. My eyes where consumed by different colors in which the portal held. But that didn't stop the tears from falling. How could she say that? She really does hate me doesn't she? I closed my eyes as I let the tears fall freely and sucked in a breath. Soon the colors where gone as my body landed on something soft yet cold. I look up to see that it was snowing, where did the emerald drag me now? I stood up quickly and began to walk as I hugged myself. It was pretty cooled even do it was barely snowing but the place looked beautiful. The snow hanged on top of the leafs. It looked like a snow paradise with the bits of sun rays that made the snow glimmer. As I looked around I didn't notice that I accidently bumped into someone.

Amy: Ouch!

Blaze: I'm so sorry! Are you alright?

Amy: Yes but…you're not, you're freezing!

Blaze: It's ok I'm fine…

Amy: Are you an orphan?

Blaze: …yes…

Amy: OMG why didn't you say so!? Come with me I'm also an orphan.

Blaze: What!? Where are you taking me, stranger?

Amy: Oh right, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Amy Rose, now where not strangers!

Blaze: This may sound rude but are you crazy or have you recently come out of the nut house?

Amy: *laughs* your funny, I'm sure Annabelle is going to love you!

Blaze: Anna who?

Amy: Annabelle, just wait till you meet her she's a sweetheart!

I don't know why, it was probably the cold or the snow that allowed me to let her drag me away. She quickly dragged me out of the snow and soon we where in front of a huge black mansion. I was left speechless, even do it was old it was beautiful. The gates opened up as Amy dragged me inside the huge mansion. She opened the doors with such ease as the heat and warmth of the house greeted us. I felt much better and hotter thanks to the house. I then notice that the mansion was filled with young girls around my age. What was this place? They all looked at Amy with a raised eyebrow as if suspecting something. Soon an older woman approached us as Amy smiled at her. The lady raised her eyebrow at Amy.

Annabelle: Amy what did you bring home, this time?

Amy: No puppy or birds just a cat!

Annabelle: Amy I told you countless of times that I can't afford any pets.

Amy: She's no pet Annabelle, she's a girl!

Amy then pushed me to the front so everyone could get a good glance at me. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my entire life then right now. Everyone looked at me as if checking me. Annabelle was the first one to walk around me to check if everything was in order. When she was done she gave me a warm smile.

Annabelle: She's beautiful!

Amy: Told you so, anyways we have to keep her.

Annabelle: Amy it's not that easy, remember?

Amy: Will find a sponsor for her, I mean she's pretty. She will get one in no time just give her a week in school!

Annabelle: *sigh* Alright but where is she going to sleep?

Rouge: She can sleep in my room.

Amy: Well that's a shocker, I thought you hated company.

Rouge: I don't hate company; I just dislike cheerful and obnoxious people like you!

Amy: Grr…It's on!!

Amy glared at the bat and they jumped on top of each other. They began to fight as all the girls gasped. Annabelle gasped and quickly got in the middle to stop the fight. I quickly helped her as I grabbed Amy by the wrist and pulled her out of the fight. Annabelle with two other girls held the bat down. They seem to hate each other deeply.

Annabelle: This is unladylike of you girls. Rouge calm down and Amy settle down as well.

Rouge: She jumped on top of me!

Amy: You deserved it, you witch!

Blaze: Amy relax! Mrs. Annabelle can I take Amy away?

Annabelle: I hate to break it to you dear but there also roommates.

Blaze: How lovely…

Annabelle: I'm sorry dear you have a lot on your hands. Anyways you may escort them to their room.

Blaze: Alright.

I let go of Amy as she cooled down. The other girls let go of Rouge as she also cooled down. We walked up the stairs as I kept my eyes on them just in case. They weren't looking at each other, only facing the opposite direction. I let out a sigh as we stopped in front of a huge hallway. There where a lot of doors, Amy stepped forward as Rouge followed her. They where in front of a door which I'm guessing is our room. She opened the door and let us in, they where three separate beds. Same size and same color, the walls where painted in a white color. With blue curtains and the beds where white. It looked pretty decent and nice.

Amy: Hey I never got your name.

Blaze: Oh me? Well my name is Blaze the cat.

Rouge: Well that's a cool name Blaze. My name is Rouge the bat.

Amy: Of course I already told you my name but just in case. It's Amy Rose.

Rouge: So you're an orphan like us, right Blaze?

Blaze: Yup no mother nor father…

Rouge: Amy did you tell her that this isn't any normal foster home right?

Amy: *gasps* I forgot! Well Blaze this isn't any normal place. I bet you notice where all girls here right?

Blaze: Yes but what does that have to do with anything?

Rouge: Well the school we go to is not normal neither.

Amy: The school is filled with rich boys.

Rouge: Every girl that is here is sponsored by a rich boy from our school.

Amy: For example if a guy in our school finds me attractive, he pays for my stay here.

Rouge: If he has a crush on Amy and continues to have it till we graduate, Amy has to marry him.

Blaze: WHAT!?!?! You're practically being sold here!!! Don't you have a say in it? Can you stop it?!

Amy: The only way to actually stop it is if a richer guy likes me and pays a higher prize.

Rouge: As in the richer guy pays more then the other guy for her. Well he gets to marry Amy.

Blaze: *Mouth opens up in total shock*

Amy: Anyways, if you want to stay here you need to get at least one guy to like you.  

Rouge: Yes Annabelle will give you one week of testing. If you don't find a guy by then…

Amy: You have to leave…

Blaze: Annabelle is not as nice as she seems.

Rouge: It's not her fault.

Amy: It's just the rich bosses who made this place. Annabelle is just following orders.

Blaze: Well there all bastards! I mean how dare them!? Where not pets.

Rouge: That's just how it works hun.

Amy: Anyways it's getting late we need our beauty sleep. Blaze will make you extra pretty tomorrow.

Blaze: Why?

Rouge: Because tomorrow is your first day of school. You need to get a guy's attention.

Before I could protest a clock ticked. It sounded loud as Amy and Rouge covered their ears. When the sound stopped, they both took off their shoes and crawled into their beds. I raised my eyebrow at them as they fell asleep instantly. I let out a sigh as I then looked around; it doesn't seem like a bad place. But it's practically the same like home. Well mannered, finding a guy and sleeping early. I took off my shoes and I crawled into my bed as well. I'm going to give this place a two day test if I like it I'll stay if not I'll leave. Soon my vision was consumed by total darkness and I quickly slipped into dreamland…
